Keeping your plants alive and healthy is easy! As long as you remember to water them that is . . . but not too much. There are many devices on the market to help alleviate the stressed of being a good plant parent, but they are often costly, bulky or overcomplicated. Trickle attempts to remedy this by using the same forces that nature uses to keep your plants healthy, sun, gravity and capillary action. The device harnessed the power of the sun using a small solar panel, a logic chip measures the soil moisture and periodically opens a servo controlled valve allowing the exit from a gravity fed water source ( BYO, soda bottle, glass container etc. ). This flood, drain action mimics the behavior of a normal exterior environment, allowing the root systems of the plants to oxygenate and flourish unlike a typical contestant gravity watering setup.
